GUYS!!! I DID IT!!!! I BEAT THE FUCKING BASILISK BOSS!!! So for those who don't know, my favorite game of ALL time is this RPG called Greek Graduation. Its about the Amazons from greek mythology being cursed to spend eternity in hell, but when new gods powerful enough to rival the old ones that banished them in the first place, an Amazonian shaped out of clay has to trudge her way out of hell to beat the monster and save not just Olympus, but the entire universe. The game is so rich with themes of violence and free will, with the amazonian (who we get to name, mine is named Clarissa) actually hating the control the player has over her. Anyways, there's two main routes in the game, the main route where it is revealed that Clarissa was actually a creation of the basilisk, and in defeating him, she will have to die herself. Anyways the final boss of the game is the Basilisk who has taken over the body of Apollo and killed Artemis.
I've been stuck on the Basilisk fight for weeks because the Basilisk basically takes control of the computer itself and starts doing stuff like intentionally lagging your computer and deleting objects from your inventory, but I realized that I could use the party healer to actually heal Artemis, and with a god literally at our side, we were able to defeat the Basilisk... which killed both Apollo, the Basilisk, and Clarissa.
I'm not sure how I feel about the game's ending. I think I'll just start a new save and play the dark route.
